  • 100% Financed – no government grants needed, where each community will not be required to utilize equity to build additional housing by only leveraging their good financial standing

  • Offers an immediate and sustainable funding solution for the construction new homes for Indigenous community members who receive social assistance and are in need an temporary housing option before a long-term placement is secured.

  • Anticipate that energy costs and maintenance costs will be 80% less for units built through this initiative compared to any comparable units built through INAC or CMHC. Administrative records of maintenance costs and tenants energy bills will be compared between units of similar size and location.
